The Social Security Department is inviting bids for the supply of medical materials for one year for surgical hospitals and polyclinics.
The bid is for the unit pricing for the supply, storage, transportation and delivery, according to need, of surgical products and medical supplies to hospitals, clinics and other places, which are established in the specifications, nationally and for a term of at least twelve months with the possible extension of the timeframe.
The Social Security Department of Panama is putting out to tender the purchase of medical and surgical products and supplies for hospitals and clinics.
The institution has published two separate tender acts:
The first, for $11.4 million, includes the supply, storage, transportation and delivery of medical and surgical products and supplies for the operating room of the hospital complex Dr, Arnulfo Arias, for a minimum period of 24 months .
The Social Insurance department in Panama is putting out to tender the supply, transportation and delivery of special medicines and other medical supplies for a period of twelve months.

"No. 10-2014 PUBLIC NOTICE FOR UNIT PRICING FOR THE SUPPLY, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY AS NEEDED OF MEDICINES, SPECIAL DRUGS: CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND NARCOTICS, AND BIOLOGICAL AND BIOTECHNOLOGY AND OTHER SUPPLIES SET FORTH IN THE TENDER DETAILS ITS ADDENDUMS AND ATTACHMENTS FOR HOSPITALS, CLINICS AND OTHER PLACES TO BE ESTABLISHED BY THE SOCIAL SECURITY DEPARTMENT NATIONWIDE DURING THE TERM OF TWELVE (12) MONTHS MINIMUM COVERING THE FISCAL YEAR OF THE TERM AND EXTENSION OF THE TERM .
