Tender for 7 years Worth of Prison Food Announced
The Panamanian Ministry of Government is putting a $101.6 million tender for a daily food supply for the prisoners and guards in prisons for a period of 7 years.

The service contract includes the daily supply of food and balanced nutrition for prisoners and guards in prisons located in the provinces of Panama and Colon for a period of seven (7) consecutive years at an annual servings rate of 4,609,220.00.
5 companies submitted bids for a $34 million contract comprising feeding inmates at two Panamanian prisons.
The Ministry of Justice and Public Safety is putting out to tender food supplies to be served to the inmate population of the prison system.
The project comprises supplying food for jailed convicts and their guardians.
The bid is for the supply of food served to inmates of the Prison System.
