Salvadoran Coffee Farmers Participate in Taiwan Fair

A delegation of producers will participate from the 23rd to the 30th of November in the World Coffee fair.

Each year the fair brings together professionals from the Asia Pacific region, owners of coffee houses, chain store owners, retailers and hoteliers among others.

Taiwanese Companies to Exhibit in Nicaragua

The embassy of China will organize a trade fair in late July.

Over twenty companies from Taiwan will participate in the “Republic of China Taiwan Centennial Fair”, where they will showcase their products and share their successful experiences in international trade.

The fair will also involve Nicaraguan organizations, such as investment promotion agency ProNicaragua, and other entities linked to the export sector and trade with Asia.

Panama to Participate in 21 Fairs in 2012

The country will participate in 21 international fairs specializing in agricultural products, logistics, food, handicrafts and more.

As of October 2011 the value of contracts signed at fairs amounted to $660 million, $34 million more than in the same period in 2010.

Irma Vanessa Chong, general manager of Commercial Missions of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MITI), noted that new destinations have been identified for Panamanian exports (the Nordic countries, Russia, Japan).

Nicaragua to Take Part in Food Taipei

12 companies are preparing to participate in the annual food fair to be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from 22 to 25 June.

The delegation is composed of producers of sugar cane, honey, tobacco, coffee beans, processed coffee, seafood, beef, beans and cheese among others.

"Food Taipei is attended by hundreds of businessmen from all over Asia, this represents an opportunity for Nicaragua to enter into other Asian markets through Taiwan, a country with which it has had a Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) since 2008. " noted an article in Laprensa.com.ni

Costa Rica to have national pavilion at Dominican trade fair

Costa Rica will have a national pavilion at the Dominican Republic's Asonahores 2008 trade fair from August 27 through 30.

The Costa Rican delegation will consist of 10 companies from the food, engineering and pharmaceutical sectors.
