Panasonic Central America get service quality certification

INTECO certified the company's service quality management for Costa Rica, Guatemala and El Salvador, in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Standards.

Quality in the production process as well as in customer service for Panasonic Central America were at the highest level and obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification for its operations in Costa Rica, Guatemala and El Salvador.

The ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management Systems Certification was granted by the Institute of Technical Standards of Costa Rica (INTECO) as an extension of the certification already obtained by Panasonic in Costa Rica and for the first time in the other two countries.

"At Panasonic Central America it is an honor to be able to ensure and provide quality in all of our processes, even customer services; having obtained the INTECO certification for the entire region allows us to ensure that we are offering the best service, that we continue to improve and meet our corporate objectives regarding quality," Hideyuki Kageyama, President of the company, said.

More Companies Certified as Carbon Neutral

Seven Costa Rican companies have received Carbon Neutral Certification and 23 have begun the certification process.

"This certification is an official system launched by the Government and is based on the National Carbon Neutrality Standard: voluntary standard INTE -12-01-06:2011", reported Nacion.com.
