Nicaragua to Buy Medicines
The Procurement Unit at the Ministry of Health is inviting bids for supply of medicines for a period of 24 months.

Among the medicines required are, 500g Amoxicillin tablets, 500g Cephalexin tablets and 400g Ibuprofen oral tablets, among other drugs.
Four tenders for the procurement of medicines have been canceled in Guatemala, on the grounds that they were approved by the outgoing government a few days before the change of command.
The Social Security Institute is putting out to tender the purchase of 7.4 million 30 mg tablets or capsules of lansoprazole.
The Social Security Department in Panama is putting out to tender the supply and delivery of special medicines and other supplies to hospitals, clinics and other places to be determined.
The country is to implement a so-called "reverse auctions" and price catalogs, with which they intend to save $12 million a year.
