Nicaragua: $5 Million Investment in Technological Center

"Accedo Technologies" Center will offer bilingual BPO services by the end of 2009.

Financing was obtained through the Central American Economic Integration Bank, known as BCIE for its Spanish initials.

"On of the participants of this new investment initiative is HEMCO, a mining corporation. The company is expanding its activities by investing in this technological project, which could become a Central American leader in bilingual BPO, Business Process Outsourcing", reports newspaper El Nuevo Diario.

Concentrix Invests in Nicaragua

Concentrix, the global service provider and absolute subsidiary of the SYNNEX Corporation, announced it has established an international contact center in Nicaragua.

A press release by ProNicaragua reads:

The company, located in the capital, is able to hire 60 people in its first phase and plans to increase the figure to approximately 200 employees next year.
