Honduras Tenders Measurement of Electricity Consumption

In two weeks the National Electricity Company (ENEE) will announce the conditions for the award of a contract for electricity measurement.

Authorities at the ENEE have said they are working with members of the Inter-American Development Bank on the conditions of the tender.

When asked about the objectives to be fulfilled by the winning bidder, Emil Hawit, manager of the ENEE, "said they will aim ‘to be select on the basis of efficiency’, in other words, results."
