Costa Rica: Television Broadcasters Cut Agency Commissions by 5%
The country's two major broadcasters are to reduce the commissions they pay to publicity agencies from 15% to 10%.

Repretel, one of Costa Rica's two main television companies, explained that the commissions are "a heavy burden on broadcasters that must be reduced," reports elfinancierocr.com.
The Panama Tourism Authority will pay $1.3 million to host boxing events in Argentina with advertising featuring Panama as a tourist destination.
The agencies BBDO, BB & M, and the consortia Team Tourism 16-17 and La Union Zaga submitted similar bids for $4.5 million to design and produce the country's tourism campaign.
On 6th and 7th of September 1200 representatives from advertising agencies and marketing companies in 15 countries will be attending "Festival Antigua".
The Ministry of Social Communication of the Presidency of the Republic, wishes to tender advertising services via broadcast television and cable television.
