The new Engineering Development Center (IDC), comprising of 300 engineers and technicians in systems designs, develops and tests company hardware and software. reported statements of the general manager of Intel in Costa Rica, Michael Forrest, "Intel Costa Rica expects for the Center to continue growing in both number of engineers and technicians as well as complexity of tasks".
