A call for bids will begin at the end of July for the fourth and last contract for the dry excavation of the Expansion Program of the Panama Canal.
The Panama Canal Authority (PCA) has scheduled the publication of the terms of the contract, which is considered the second most important of the expansion project, at the end of July.

According to Prensa.com, “The contract…will complete the construction of the Pacific Access Causeway, a 6.1 kilometer extension that will unite the third set of locks in the Pacific with Corte Culebra, detailed a press release from the entity.”
