The 2009 Conference, titled “Responding to Global Challenges,” will highlight how the governments and private sector of the Caribbean and Central America are addressing the multiple economic and political events that have dominated the past year.

Invited Governmental Institutions include: the U.S. Department of State; the U.S. Department of Energy; the U.S. Department of Commerce; the European Union; Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada; the Caribbean Community (CARICOM); Central American Integration System (SICA).

Invited Institutions: the Inter-American Development Bank; the World Bank; the United Nations; the Caribbean Development Bank; the Central American Bank for Economic Integration.
