Bids Will be Invited for Tocumen's "Food Court"

Rafael Flores, manager of Tocumen Airport, informed they are getting everything ready to start "as soon as possible".

Flores did not specify exactly when they will invite bidders to the process, but the general objective is to have the court ready before the airport's new northern terminal is inaugurated.

Regarding the construction of the northern terminal, Prensa.com informs that "precisely tomorrow, Colombian consortium Aerotocumen will start its construction".

Works in Tocumen to Start by the end of August

Once environmental studies are presented to the Tocumen Board of Directors, construction will start.

Rafael Flores, general manager of Tocumen, reported that Colombian consortium Aerotocumen would receive the order for starting the project by the end of August.

"The consortium will have 15 months to deliver the project, which includes the construction of a new dock with 12 access bridges, redesign of the main facade of the current terminal, an administrative building and a presidential hall, among other projects", reported Prensa.com.
