Michelle DomÃnguez, writes for Panama America's website: "According to the Superintendent of Banks of Panama, Venezuela occupies third place in terms of foreign investment in the local banking system. Venezuelan investments in Panama include restaurants, bars, pizzerias, real estate, services sector, international transport, and even a bi-weekly newspaper, among others".
