Authorities of the Ministry of the Economy announced the date when the Electronic Signatures Registry (REF) will begin to operate.
Deputy Economy Minister Erasmo Velásquez stated that they will be publishing the regulations, which will give a legal base to the registry, in the coming days.

Urías Gamarra journalist wrote in an article in Prensalibre.com: "Certifying companies that will need an investment of $190 thousand in order to be able to operate, in addition to complying with ISO 27.001 standard, which deals with information technology security."
