Mexico is experiencing a low sugar harvest, and will buy 25.000 tons from Nicaragua, tariff free.
Mexico consumes 5.26 million tons a year, but the forecast for 2009/10 stands at 4.97 million tons, reported the Mexican Economy Ministry.
